Historical Restoration

Bevilacqua & Sons, Inc. was hired by Santa Clara County to perform a Historical Restoration of the 1850’s Managers Residence of the Quicksilver Mines in New Almaden, California.

Bevilacqua & Sons, Inc. self-performed all structural/ seismic upgrades, concrete foundations, rough carpentry, and finish carpentry including the recreation of all the historic posts, trim, windows, doors and shutters.

The Casa Grande has been recognized at both the National and State levels for historical significance and was California's first mining operation started in 1845, before the major Gold Rush of 1849.
